Floyd practically did the same thing to Gatti and then to Mosley, and in no way both fighters rough-housed him as Victor did. It's just Floyd being Floyd. It's purely instinctive. He simply has incredible presence of mind and ring-smart to take advantage on any slightest mental lapses on his opponents. Look what he did to Gatti. With lightning quickness he immediately hit unsuspecting, hands down Gatti right after the break, and that was legal. With Mosley still talking smack to him after the break, Floyd quickly stuffed a solid right straight to Mosley's mouth waking him up.
As to Ortiz fight, it's my opinion that everything that preceded the 1-2 combo that ended the fight were moot. Whether he was fouled and rough-housed first or not, whether Joe Cortez was watching or not after he said "Let's Go", Floyd would still do the same. Floyd knows exactly in that very moment that what he will be doing is legal and it's a chance for him to end the fight easy and early. So we can't blame Floyd for just being so smart. I don't blame Cortez either. THE IDIOT ORTIZ SHOULD THE ONLY ONE TO BLAME.He offered Floyd the opportunity and Floyd simply take care of business. Never seen a fighter in a fight as big and in a big stage as this, losing his mind. IDIOT, IDIOT, IDIOT, ESTUPIDO, LOCO, TARANTADO!!!!!
Unsportsmanlike? yes absolutely. Immoral? yes.But it's legal and a big win for him. And considering what Floyd has repeatedly said before that "Legacy don't pay the bills" but Skills and ring-smart do, he just simply stick to his words.
