Actually while your post before was spot on, this gif shows something completely different. This is a classic Floyd trap. he positions his left fist forward creating distance between him and ortiz. Ortiz then has to get past the arm to get in close so he decidse to parry floyds left arm. you can see clearly that is not a punch from ortiz. its soft and nowhere near floyd's face or body. But it would have moved floyd's left down if floyd had kept it there.
This movement from Ortiz gives floyd an opening and he throws the right.
The reason Floyd seems so fast sometimes is because he reacts before it happpens. He controls the actions of his opponents and knows exactly what is about to happen as he has orchestrated the exchange

Exactly, that gif is the best to me. You see Mayweather luring Ortiz into a trap and it works perfectly. Ortiz doesn't use his right hand to hit Floyd's face, he only wanted to take away Floyd's left arm, and then after he would have try to punch Floyd with the opening created. Pac likes to do that a lot against the big robots ( Marg and Clottey come to my mind ). However it's a total trap, as soon as he tries to push Floyd's left arm it creates an opening on HIS side and Floyd just land on him a straight right. It must be really discouraging to fight against him.
