alvarez was trying new styles, i just don't think he should've been doing that in the fight. he lost like 3 rounds cause of it. he needs to stay active if he isn't trying to fight the best of the division. heard he's thinking about a december bout, sounds good. hopefully he looks better.

Besides the fact he wouldn't throw a punch and lost 3 or 4 rounds he didn't look bad. He could have stopped him at anytime IMO. My only guess is that he wanted to work on a few things.

Cotto is washed up Ryan Rhodes is a better opponent. Arum won't send Cotto to get killed that is why he is fighting guys who are even more washed up then he is(Margarito and Mayorga)

I had Gomez winning the fight before he was stopped and Gomez was the naturally smaller guy. Canelo and his team enjoy fighting guys naturally smaller then Canelo.

Even after the beatings Cotto and Margarito have taken in their careers they would still mop the floor with Canelo. I'd pick the winner of Cotto/Margarito to beat Canelo's ass in a one sided fight if Canelo wants the winner of Cotto/Margarito but he won't because he knows he'd lose against them right now.
