Yeah I agree, a lot of people really started to like him and some may even feel he was cheated by Floyd. He's young and talented, just wasn't ready for somebody like Floyd, I'm sure he'll bounce back stronger than when he lost to Maidana. Vic has plenty of big fights (and winnable too) in rematches with Berto and Maidana, the grudge match against Rios, and VS Khan and Bradley.

Well he was always going to gain SOME fans.

The question is did Ortiz squander the opportunity? And the answer is yes.

He came across as a fool and a first class idiot. Kissing and hugging floyd? Getting as his ass kicked by looking at the ref? And then acting like hes mentally ******ed in the interviews? Yep, Ortiz did all of this.
