I don't think it was a cheap shot, EXPLANATION INSIDE

I've been studying this. When I saw it real time I thought it WAS dirty and unsportsman-like. But take a look at this sequence. From 1:52 to 1:54 Victor put his hands out to touch gloves with Floyd. Floyd touched at 1:54. From 1:55 to 1:56 Ortiz kinda pulled his arms back. So now after various apologies, Floyd assumed the apologizing was done and it was back to fighting. From 1:56 to 1:57 it looked like Ortiz was trying to tie up Mayweather as you can see Mayweather put his gloves back in his chin for a split second out in front of his chest as to keep Ortiz off of him. Keep in mind Floyd probably thinks the apologizing is done and his state of mind is on boxing. Ortiz should of recognized Floyd's movements as it was time to fight already. So at 2:00 after Ortiz let go Floyd already with his mind on fighting seized the opportunity and clocked Ortiz. And the rest you know........

What I'm saying is think about it quick. It looked to me like Floyd was reacting in the heat of the moment appropiately.

What I'm saying is Floyd gave Ortiz a quick second to touch gloves and assumed that was it.
