I seen an interview where foreman was talking about this. He said thats what makes Ali the greatest of all time. Floyd will never be the greatest of all time. He tries to talk **** like Ali, he tries to be funny like Ali. But all i gotta say is there is only ONE muhammad ali. And ali was witty when he talked trash, floyd isnt even remotely funny. Ali is the greatest for now and forever!

As you said, he purposefully didn't hit Foreman anymore on the way down because he said it wasn't necessary. Theres really no comparison between Ali and Mayweather.
