Cortez, when was the last time this controversial ref headlined a main event since his last **** up?
Why was he looking away after saying box?
      What exactly happened to sportsmanship?

Boxing is a ****ing soap opera since the passing of the real boxers who had respect for one another, who understood the ethics & moral code & of course the un-written rules of boxing. This whole Mayweather vs Pac is the only thing keeping the sport alive to be honest. They needed some controversy like this, to keep people buzzin about the dying sport.

Obviously I'm not one siding cause what Ortiz was dirty as well, but how can you compare a young kids decision to that of a grown man who's intention is to clean up the sport or should I say "his sport" since he claims he's the face of boxing. Your suppose to be the example for these young guns, the best in the game.

It's one thing to be rich & arrogant but it's another to be a classless worthless piece of ****.

My favorite sport will officially die November 12th when Marquez gets cheated yet again in hope to secure things for the "$100 million fight".

I agree. And posters like the one above who are saying you're whining are the problem as well. The sport is doing poorly in America and incidents like this and fans that condone it are to blame. When they get older they'll realize this hopefully.

im pretty sure boxing is just fine everywhere else. If you want to watch grown as men touch gloves and hug, NFL just about to begin.

If you are a boxing fan I would advise you to support boxing in America. Just sayin'.

                MMA isn't killing boxing.

The boxers themselves promoters are doing a fine job.

MMA is just filling in the void.
