BoxingScene.com spoke with Top Rank's CEO, Bob Arum, regarding Saturday night's controversial fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. (42-0, 26KOs) and Victor Ortiz (29-3, 22KOs). After Ortiz intentionally used his head in the fourth round, he was penalized a point by referee Joe Cortez. Ortiz tried to calm the situation by going over to hug Mayweather, but when he pulled away from that hug, with his hands down, Mayweather fired off two punches that knocked him out.

Floyd won in exciting fashion, and would have won later on anyway, probably by KO as well. I love how everyone wants to criticize him, when in reality Ortiz dug his own grave.
