Victor Ortiz Vs. Amir Khan @147 (2012)

We know Khan is out growing 140 and he said its harder to make the weight and will be moving to 147 in the near future, who do you see winning at welter? Personally I think Ortiz is too physically strong for Khan but Khan is faster and better skilled. Ortiz IMO would stop Khan in the middle rounds maybe he could survive to the 7th or 8th

Khan is a ****ing beast, he'd KO Ortiz. Too much speed for Ortiz to handle and Ortiz doesn't have the greatest chin. Ortiz doesn't have a good defense and Khan would take advantage of that easily with his speed, if Khan hurts Ortiz at any point (which is pretty much guaranteed) in the fight Ortiz would be done for sure he just shuts down once he gets hurt he doesn't have a lot of heart.

khan outboxes ortiz, until ortiz lands a good uppercut or punch and hurts khan... if at any point khan frustrates ortiz, he will headbutt khan, possible DQ

Khan hopped on his bicycle because Maidana was painting his slow haymakers all over his face in the later rounds, Ortiz would finish him like Chinese Food leftovers

You're acting as if the weight made his chin any better, in the Maidana fight he just gave up. In the Berto fight during the first KD he almost shut down completely, he doesn't know what to do when he's hurt go ahead and watch it. His arms went down and sort of just went limp, if Berto actually landed anything he would've taken Ortiz out. Other fighters keep their guard up when they're hurt, they move around, tie other guys up etc.

Ortiz has almost no D and a poor chin, combine that with Khan's good punching power and elite speed and that adds up to a KO victory for Khan.

I think Khan would outclass him, but it's hard for me to picture Ortiz not being able to land a big shot on him. Ortiz by ko.
