    Erik Morales thoughts on Floyd

He's on Republic Deportiva on Univision right now and he says that what Floyd did was classless and in bad faith. Even though it was a legal hit, that in the boxing their is a code between boxers that they understand where not to cross. In this case hitting Ortiz when he clearly wasn't expecting that the right had resumed. Just sharing what the mexican legends opinion was about Floyd's actions. Calling floyd's actions very unsportsman like.

        Morales >>>>> Mayweather

In 15-20 years time people will have long forgot Mayweather's name but Morales' name will live on forever.

Well, right now Mayweather will be up there with guys like Pernell Whitaker. Which is saying something, Floyd has beaten some top guys like Castillo, Corrales, Genaro Hernandez, etc. He is incredibly physically gifted with ungodly reach for his weight and height. But, if anyone does any digging they will see major red flags from the Castillo 1 robbery and split decision with Oscar, as well as blatant ducking of Cotto and Pacquiao.

But he looked good last night, he looked like he can hang with and beat top welterweights instead of the blown up lightweights he usually fights. If he sucks it up he could end up as a top 10 all time fighter, still has till age 37 or so to be competitive.

Did Morales have any opinion on Ortiz's the constant attempts to head butt Mayweather? Ortiz started the dirty ****, he has no right to complain if he cant handle when Mayweather retaliates.

To even mention this gutless cowards name with a Legend like Morales is a shame.

Morales is one of the few last warriors left.

Floyd is just a classless gutter trash fighter who is scared to fight the best.

and has to resort to classless and pathetic ways to get a win.

Morales will always be known as a warrior and one of the greatest. Floyd? A cherrypicked who ruined Boxing and made it into a circus and a joke.

Long periods of inactivity and too many soft touch fights will hurt his legacy imo. You talk about Castillo, Corrales, Genaro Hernandez etc but that was 10 years ago, what has he done since then?

He has had a decent career but he could have achieved so much more.
