Floyd does look less mobile than 4-5 years ago, but he is quick enough to escape when he has to and his upper body movement and defense is so good he can stand if front of guys and pretty much make them miss everything. Floyd could fight in top condition until 40 IMO.

He sits down on the right hands , throws a short sharp jab, short counter right hands, counter left hooks then steps to the side. Dude is gonna retire undefeated imo

and another thing, yall will really miss him when hes gone, floyd is something special and generates a huge amount of buzz for the sport. He brings a lot of attention, and shows immaculate skill in the ring. When hes gone there will be a huge vacuum to fill and boxing will suffer for a while until another manny or floyd comes along.

He looked slightly more mobile than Morales, whose legs are completely gone. He is wise to continue his ducking and dodging, he and his team already knows the score.

On whether he [Roger Mayweather] believes Floyd would be ready to fight Pacquiao in his next fight if he beats Victor Ortiz:

“Well I wouldn’t think he would fight Pacquiao right after fighting Victor Ortiz. I mean it would be crazy for Floyd to go in the ring with Pacquiao after fighting Victor Ortiz!

I'm so sick of this garbage, if floyd moves and uses his legs he's a "runner" if the dude stands more stationary or stalks "he's getting old" or "his legs are gone". STFU and try again!

obviously you been arguing with too many pac fans that you cant think clearly, i never thought of floyd as a runner but as a supreme technician, most floyd fans do as well. seems like you got trolled way too many times, take a break from the forums man and keep up with the rest of the world

Nice try with the insult bro, I come on to this forum to check people's opinions when an important boxing match occurs, yep since 2006, and that's right I have barely touched 200 posts. I like reading here and there, trust me the world is where I am, more than this forum. Try again...you might get somewhere...LOfingL!

You need to understand the difference between a dancing Floyd and one that is not dancing and sitting on his punches , he said pre fight he is going to stand and will not run ,,,, now you guys say his legs are gone , the guy cant win no matter what he does , it was a brilliant FM last night Im ***ed if I know what you guys see , it appears you have blinkers on and look for things that are not there .

Mayweather understood that Ortiz is more effective when he is coming forward and that he is very hittable with a good but crackable chin and anyone that yo-yos their weight that much is going to lack stamina. So Mayweather fought a more aggressive fight. It was the same gameplan he had against Gatti. I dont think he would be so Cavalier against Pacquiao.
