So Lets all get one thing straight. Ortiz was loosing the fight and was on his way to getting KO'd. Floyd was already about to bring the fight to a climax.
Ortiz blatantly headbutt Floyd then tried to make amends by hugging and kissing floyd. They touched gloves and then floyd hit him twice. I don't think that he was hit that hard to the point where he couldn't get back up. But Ortiz saw what I saw, he was going to loose in embarrassing fashion.
What Ortiz did was unprofessional and illegal. What Floyd did was legal but unsportsmanlike. No need to pick sides in the matter unless you want to go with a "who started it" type attitude and that was Ortiz.
What Floyd did is what he always does. Gatti, Mosely and now Ortiz all know the golden rule of boxing (I'm not going to repeat it). Ortiz should have been prepared form watching tape and he should have known that floyd is all boxing when he's the ring.
What Floyd said to Larry was true and the fact that he offered a rematch tells me that he wishes it hadn't ended that way>
