What Ortiz did was wrong, but the headbutt NEVER LANDED and he got a point taken away. But I guess Floyd is allowed to sucker punch someone when the ref is turned away and the fighter has his hands down/looking away?

I guess I can beat Floyd's kids and his new girl, cuz he did it, so that means I can do it right? 2 Wrongs = Rightt!!!

    ***** math haha,

    2 Wrongs = Right
Are you insane, blind, delusional or plainly hating? I don't give a **** about Mayweather, but that headbutt broke his lip.

      - Ortiz was dirty the whole fight, with consistent and blatant headbutts
      - Cortez called "Let Go!" and motioned for the fighters to continue fighting after deducting a point from Ortiz
      - Ortiz decide to attempt a make-out session with Floyd instead of fighting.

      Game, Set, Match.

Look at the slo mo replay. Cortez isnt looking at the fighters, Floyd takes a quick glance at Cortez and can see he isnt looking, then fires the left hook at Ortiz. Floyd sees Cortez still isnt looking at the action and also sees Ortiz look at Cortez for intervention, and then throws his straight right.

Everything about that finish is just plain wrong, makes me feel queasy looking at it and every uncomfortable. Ortiz looks like he was mugged in broad daylight and people turning a blind eye to it.

Cortez hasnt give the signal to fight yet. He's looking at the time keeper to give a signal to turn on the clock but floyd already did his cheap shot! Cortez need to say , "Time in!" Then after that it's legal to punch!

Cortez Blew it!! Floyd's an ass hole!! Ortiz got ******!! The fight is a Farce!! I'm glad I didnt Paid for it!

Cortez sure wasnt looking, yet Floyd still went ahead with punching Ortiz. Floyd could have ko'ed Oritz with a round house kick to the head, and Cortez wouldnt have known about it.

This is bad for the sport of boxing, which Floyd is trying to clean up.

I know. I love all these people saying Mayweather was losing the fight at that point. This would have been COMPLETELY one sided if all that s**t in the 4th didn't happen. History shows that if Floyd struggles in a fight, especially against a Southpaw, its in the first 3-4 rounds. Floyd won the first three rounds. He had out landed Ortiz something like 78-27 and connected at something like 35% to Ortiz' 16% or something. Victor was clearly out classed, and its sad that we didn't get to see it be even more evident if the fight had gone on. Mayweather was more active in this fight. He threw like 200 somehting punches through 4 rounds, more active than in his previous fights. MAYWEATHER WAS NOT LOSING THE FIGHT. Anyone saying that, don't kid yourself, because you're full of complete s**t if yout hink that.

I think what Dan Rafael said was right. Ortiz got clearly frustrated at the end of round 4, when he had Floyd ont he ropes, but only landed like 2 or 3 clean shots, while throwing many more. And he CLEARLY intentionally headbutted Floyd in the mouth and made Floyd bleed in his mouth. Cortez walked over the judges and told them to deduct to point, while Ortiz went over to Mayweather and "kissed" him on the cheek like a punk. Then, Ortiz wants to apologize for it, and they touch gloves and back away. Than, Mayweather clocks him with a left hook and straight right, sending him down. Victor Ortiz got what the f**k he deserved. Floyd had done NOTHING illegal or even questionable until Ortiz clearly headbutted him in the mouth. You want to say Mayweather was illegal in the punches, even Ortiz said it wasn't. Floyd looked like the same old Floyd, and was never really even hurt by Ortiz. I was actually impressed by how well Mayweather looked in the first 4 rounds (when ring rust was suppose to show).

Bottom line...you wanna headbutt someone in the mouth, expect them to be savvy and cleck you. They touched gloves and both baclked away, the fight is on! I'm only upset that we didn't get to see Mayweather beat down Ortiz in the second half of the fight, when he actually turns it on usually.

If Ortiz wants a rematch, he can get a rematch. Mayweather will give you an immediate rematch if it makes sense. He won't wait 4 years, 3 1/2 years, and 4 years to give someone a rematch....like good ol' Pacman.

This fight only re-enforced that I think Mayweather fairs a good shot against Pacquiao. He was hitting Ortiz counters and straight rights all night. Yeah, Ortiz got him on the ropes for about 20 seconds in a couple rounds, but did not do much damage at all, and actually didn't land much at all. Mayweather landed like 80 punches through round 4, on a guy that was suppose to give him all the problems in the world. He looked good for your first fight back at 34. You guys gotta admit it.

LMAO, so now its up to the boxers to pause in the middle of a match because the ref isn't looking.

What Ortiz did was ILLEGAL, what Floyd did was LEGAL. Yet Floyd gets the ****storm? Interesting.

Not exactly, but Floyd and Ortiz were like touching gloves and FLoyd noticed Cortez wasnt looking. Floyd dont need to do that if hes winning and should rise above it.

Can you imagine the furore and uproar if SSM tried ko'ing Pac after touching Pacs gloves and you know how many times he did that.
