lmao ortiz is a B**** as* N****, he threw a FLYING headbutt at the end cmon sun. You deserved what you got. Ortiz only has 2 dimensions , go and go harder, no adjusting, no analyzing the fighter, just come forward and throw punches, neanderthal S***

Headbutts happen all the time in boxing.

The proper response would be punching below the belt, on the hips, or in the balls, he if kept doing it.

Pretending to hug somebody so they let their guard down, and then clocking them...TWICE...is not normal in the course of boxing.

Which is why there is controversy. DUH.

Don't act like that **** was normal. If it was normal nobody would be talking about it.

That was an Instant Disqualification type of headbutt. Purely intentional. Nothing else.

BUMP!!! man this is disgraceful and so apparent how people have such hate for Floyd. We all understand that outside of the ring he leaves more to be desired. In the ring he has played by the rules, with the exception of some elbows...here and there in previous fights. Ortiz game with a game plan to rough up Mayweather, and it was a good one, but to headbutt (and a series of them) is unacceptable. Mayweather got cut in the mouth by the last one, and that basically put him over the edge. He waited for the ref to call time back in, and punched the **** out of Ortiz. All by the book. If anyone is to blame it is Cortez's sloppy reffing. He should have deducted a point from Ortiz long time ago and probably prevented this ending which disappointed all the fans.

The proper response would have to been to throw illegal punches instead of the legal ones Floyd threw?

I was shocked by the ending just like everyone else, but what i saw was just miscommunication by Ortiz and Floyd. Ortiz was coming in to hug and Mayweather to touch gloves, so Mayweather was able to get off quicker out of the break because Ortiz came out out of the break with his hands down. This adrenaline stuff, and Ortiz should have known better. A shocking ending no doubt, and people who already hate Floyd will no doubt find more vitriol to spurt at him and those who like will sing is praises. At the end nothing will change, but the fight of Mayweather`s career continues--the attack and defense of Mayweather by both critics and fans respectively.
