Floyd did something similar to Mosley too, admittedly Mosley seems to want to hug everyone these days but it was a cheap move.
Floyd pulled that move against Mosley.

Apparently, Ortiz's trainer should've done his homework a bit better. He focused on the elbow thing too much.
He should've told his pupil not to go and try hug too much. It just happened in his last fight, and you go reaching in trying to hug him?Comment

it's a fight Money does it all the time, Ortiz should have watched tape and been prepared. Even after the ref breaks him up from clinches, as so as he moves out of the way he punches right awayComment

and if somebody headbutts me the way he did, leaping out of the air, i don't give two ****s how sorry you are, i'm gonna bust your ass because i'm gonna be PISSEDComment

No Mosley was different they were talking for like 30 seconds and both had their hands up there was no confusion about the fight being back in action and the ref was in an excellent position. this was Cortez talking to the judges and not making it clear for both fighters and the fans that the fight was back in action. I actually had to watch a replay to see when he said "Lets go" I missed it the first time, Cortez screwed this up big timeComment

If someone head butted you, you'd probably go into shock and not do anything. Please dont make things up on the internet, ive seen worse head butts than that in fights but for some reason Floyd acted like it was devastating.Comment

This is boxing, a sport not a street fight. Of course I'd be pissed but If I was putting on a clinic and landing shots almost at will. Why would I need to take a 1-2 cheap shot.
This hurts Floyd's rep more than anything. It's sad to see but everyone will focus on the ending and not what he was doing before that, showing a how a master at boxing works.Comment
