Canelo was playing with him. He was trying a different look, going for vicious counters. Different level of fighter to Gomez but yes he is flawed.

Alvarez was so obviously carrying Gomez and could have won that fight whenever he felt like it. When a fighter sits against the ropes and does nothing, when they are quite capable of doing something, they are carrying their opponent.

Alvarez was playing with Gomez. I thought he was about to knock him out in Rd 2-3 but then he decided to put his feet up and not do anything for long periods. Gomez complaining at the end was complete rubbish. Once Canelo caught him, he went in for the kill. He should've thanked the ref for saving him from a brutal knockout instead of complaining about some phantom conspiracy

I don't think he was exposed per say, however don't try to work on your shoulder roll in a championship fight when you haven't done the legwork in the gym. smh

Canelo has to step it up in class. He wants JCC jr so more than likely he is going to be fighting the Gomezes of the world
