It would not have been 2-2, it would have been 3-1 Mayweather, WITH a point deduction for the headbutt.

Mayweather was killing him with power shots. Lead rights, check left hooks, uppercuts, you name it ; he hit him with everything but the kitchen sink.

Ortiz's flurries against the ropes while attractive to a n00b viewer were mostly ineffective shots that missed, or barely clipped Floyd at all.

Floyd usually takes a few rounds to have a guy figured out and THEN starts to break him down. He figured Ortiz out within the first 30 seconds. Im 100% convinced that Floyd was going to stop Victor one way or another tonight.

The only way for Ortiz to win the fight the way it was going at the start of RD4 was if he landed a lucky punch. If you look at the fight objectively and then try to spread it over the course of 12 rounds, it wouldn't have went 12 rounds. Ortiz would've been stopped.

The 1-2 Floyd landed, I didn't even think it was enough to stop him, Ortiz' chin sucks. Mosley hit Floyd harder than that, and it was a chin-check punch too that normally knocks guys out. That was a straight right hand.
