Had Ortiz never headbutted him, from which a apologizing hug came, this would have never happened.
The blame goes to Ortiz. Floyd being opportunistic in the situation shouldn't be held against him, if you don't have any strong bias against Floyd from the get-go.Comment

Had Ortiz just stuck to the flurry against the ropes, without the headbutt. He might've stole the round, and lived another round to fight.
Hadn't he been over apologetic, he might've finished the round, and then some.
You don't play around against 41-0 guy, and risk getting DQ'd. You don't play around against a 41-0 guy and go kissing and hugging him, when you should be staying focused on the fight. Why do you care what Floyd thinks? You headbutted him, you got a point taken away, Fight on.
