Is it just me or you guys missed larry saying Floyd is walking into the Arena with his kids to come off as a good guy earlier on one of the PPV undercard fights. He deadass has it out for Floyd. I dont blame Floyd at all
Was Floyd classless in what he said to age 80 Larry Merchant tonight?

Victor Ortiz did the wrong thing, but he knew it right away, and was apologizing for it, as he authentically knew he messed up and played unfair. He got frustrated and resorted to a dirty tactic. Not the first time this has happened in boxing. Later he went over-board with the apologies, and was very apologetic all around as Larry said, especially considering the circumstances.
Larry Merchant asked the question everybody wanted answered. Floyd may have gotten all bent out of shape about it, because he clearly knew what he did was cheap, and he couldn't take the heat for it. Larry doesn't mess around, and kept the pressure up and Floyd snapped since he couldn't handle the criticism for his behavior. Larry KO1 Floyd.
That said... is that how a champion should act? Throwing a sucker punch at your opponent when he is apologizing to you? How much of a piece of **** do you have to be?
Was it legal, yes. Sportsman like, especially at this level of the sport? Hell no.
Floyd is a chump. Men don't behave in such ways.Comment

You can't work for fucking HBO and then take your frustration out on the fighters that are doing exactly what the network has enabled and encouraged them to do.

i actually had really close relationships with mine.
no sympathy for merchant, though. he's been needling at floyd since he was just a kid. the accumulation of unnecessary crap merchant has come out with over 15 years adds up to something much more classless than floyd telling him that he ain't **** (which, comparatively, is true).Comment

No class whatsoever.... a disgrace. I thought Mayweather couldn't get any lower than cheapshotting ortiz twice on the break, then moments later he starts spitting expletives in the face of an 80 year old broadcaster. Pacquiao > MayweatherComment
