It was bound to happen. Larry's been condescending to Floyd in interviews and when calling his fights for ages. Larry's never had any real respect for Floyd, so Floyd went off and disrespected Larry last night.

Did you guys forget that Tyson went to Showtime over Larry Merchant? Oscar De La Hoya also tried to have him fired.

I've loved watching Larry's crazy ass over the years, but he does talk down to a lot of fighters, so I'm not surprised or even upset that Mayweather went off on him. What he said wasn't a lie.

I don't think there are many Mother Theresa types in boxing as some here seem to believe. Larry Merchant does what he's paid to do and so does Floyd. The public expects and like it or not, they both give what is expected.

Floyd has cheapened the sport more than ANY other fighter in history. Based on his character, he has NO right to be champion. His talent has taken him far but he is not deserving of how good he has it.
