Ortiz is an idiot. How many times are you going to fucking apologize? First, you hug and kiss him. Second, they touch gloves and now you want to fucking hug again? This is boxing, not some hippie lovefest.

Doesn't matter you fruitcake. If floyd had a problem with it he could have easily denied ortiz's advances. The sucker punches were deliberate from the start with floyd pretending to embrace ortiz for a hug just to hit him with a left hook less then A SECOND after letting go. Its not even about if it was technically legal, or if ortiz was dumb and deserved it, its about what actually happened.

The distance was absolutely ridiculous, Ortiz's face couldnt have been farther then 8 inches from floyd's left glove before he was hit. Dude couldnt even take a half step back to resume boxing...before he was struck with a left hand. Did you guys even see how fast floyd hit him after he let go of that hug? Do you guys even realize how likely Ortiz would have STILL got caught even if he did attempt to immediately put his hands up? We're talking about a lead left hook, one of floyds specialties, from INCHES away from ortiz, right at eye level length with his face and all.

Anybody who calls themselves a boxing fan and sees nothing wrong with floyd's actions at the end of that fight needs to take a serious look in the mirror.

Tonight was a frustrating night for fight fans everywhere. The fact that floyd fanboys are actually trying to chalk tonight up as a good night of boxing is just sad.

Exactly!!!!! If you want to blame anyone blame Ortiz. Cortez brought his hands together and said "let's go". People complaining about Cortez not looking at the action. Watch again, Cortez was confirming with the the side ref if the time had started again, by stating "time in".

Get your facts together before talking **** about what happened in the fight. If is all Ortiz's fought. He did not want anymore of Floyd and quit.. The HBO announcers got it all wrong including Lederman. Watch it again. Stop blaming Floyd for **** that is not his fault. When Mosley was running away from Manny the whole fight, everyone blamed Shane. This is all on Ortiz. Be fair.
