Ortiz wasn't having a bad round. It's a shame he went for the extra apology, because it could have been a good fight. No, he wasn't going to beat Mayweather, and the head butt was a dirty play, but Ortiz really wasted the chance to gain some momentum following an otherwise decent round of flurries.
Mayweather took advantage of a gesture on the part of Ortiz, but it was his opponents' job to protect himself. The ref should have insisted they get back to fighting.
Still a rather exciting fight. Ortiz did some good things when he settled down, and it was nice to see Money play a little offense for a change.
By the way, in the post fight interview, Mayweawther was a total douche bag.
What kind of bull**** fight is this Joe Cortez needs to be fired or something how does he take points away from Ortiz without warning him first and then allows mayweather to hit him without him resuming the fight and still accepts it.
That headbutt was intentional, that's an automatic deduction.
He dished out dirt and got dirt back in return and wasn't ready for it
Ortiz started it and Mayweather finished it lol...Can't feel sorry for him AT ALL...that Headbutt was BS and he threw a extra Punch after Cortez said stop
So Mayweather answered back with his OWN DIRTY TACTICS!
