    Zsolt Erdei Defends Title Successfully

zsolt erdei defeated Mehdi Sahnoune by TKO at 2:17 of the 12th round in the 4th successful title defense of his WBO light heavyweight title.

what do you think of the guy? how does he fight? is he any good?

what i personally know about his is this: he needs to stop fighting bums and nows the time to step up his level of opposition.

I think i've seen his last 6 fights, and unfortunately, i don't rate him at all........bums?...well he has struggled against nearly all of the bums he has fought.....even tonight he was very very lucky at the end otherwise he probably would have lost on points (although in germany, so maybe not)....

he has a big heart and battles on, but basically in my opinion, the guy would have absolutely no chance against any of the other top ten light heavyweights out there.....the only fight which he impressed me was when he beat julio gonzalez last year, and i think it was all about gonzalez totally underestimating him....

apart from that, he is probably a top tenner, but just....i think the 2nd tier guys like adamek, briggs, tiozzo, etc would clean him up, whereas we won't even talk about the tarvers, jones, johnsons, etc.

cmon, briggs and adamek arent 2nd tier opponents.

the word around the "campfire" is that adamek could be the one to beat tarver.

well i meant 2nd tier, as in the top tier being RJJ, Tarver, Johnson....

i rate Adamek highly, although I don't think he belongs on that top tier yet......

and i can't see Adamek beating Tarver at all....a long way away to be honest,,,...Adamek will need to mature a bit more as a fighter until he could challenge Tarver....

i think we can leave RJJ out of the top tier of the LHW division, seeing as how hes lost three consecutive fights, two by KO.

and in the 3rd fight, tarver looked awful. he just stood there and threw the jab and only tried to follow up when jones looked dazed in (i think it was) the 10th round.

in his last fight, adamek looked pretty good. he was jabbing, moving, and throwing combos. and it was his right hand, his favorite punch, that KOd ulrich.

adamek's chances of beating tarver are better than you think.
