          thanks for making my point
hatton got rocked and dropped and then needed a few seconds to collect himself.
          that NEVER happend to lamotta
in 106 fights, he was dropped ONCE and that was in his 103th fight, when he was done. hatton has been dropped against a nobody in his prime, and he was ROCKED, a great and solid punch. we need to wait and see if hatton truly has a "granite" chin

I think you guys are getting a little carried away with Floyd.

Sure the kid's got talent, but the way some of you talk is like he's some kind of super human being.

Go back and watch the 3rd and 4th round of Corley vs Mayweather and you'll see that Mayweather is very hitable... Hatton is leagues above the last three years worth of opponents Mayweather has been fighting. Hatton will throw Mayweather around the ring like a rag doll, and punish him to the body.

Mayweather may have all the talent in the World, but it's not enough to keep Hatton away from him. Hatton will drag him into the trenches and force Mayweather to fight Hatton's fight.

Mayweather is an easier fight for Hatton than the Tszyu fight... Simply because styles make fights.

No offense mate, but seeing your sig and avatar doesn't exactly make you appear the most impartial person to be giving an opinion.

That sounds like the same account Ricky's mum would put forth.

Floyd isn't a 100% lock, but his style is a bad match for Hatton, not the other way around.

Floyd would be a substantial favorite in the fight, and rightfully so.

i disagree mart, i see where your coming from tho and do believe it would be like that if hatton is quick enough to close the gap, if he gets on top of floyd he'll stay on top, i just dont think he will be consistant enough, i think floyd will be just too quick and slick for him, is floyd staying at 147 and vacating the wbc belt or is he just testing the welter waters

Hatton's a highly skilled thug, Mayweather would definitely have his toughest fight against him. Mayweather is far from the level some people rate him at, he's going to seriously struggle with Hattons rampaging style, his power and his brilliant range of punches.

I'd rather see Castillo vs Hatton than Mayweather vs Hatton, at least Castillo would make a real fight of it, Mayweather isnt physically capable of standing centre ring with Hatton, he'd be going backwards for as long as it lasted.
