Ray was way past it when he received the shellacking from Terry.

        Plus Floyd don't sniff coke.

            Thanks for the kind words.

In February of 1991, Terry Norris wasn't even Terry Norris yet.

He was an unproven upstart with a big win and bad loss.

Ortiz is in the same position.

Maybe not but he does have Daddy issues and myriad distractions.

Not to mention inactivity and ring rust, all of which will inevitably catch up to PBF.

same position, yes...same fighter? no, not really

that bad loss was against Julian Jackson, who gave people plenty of bad losses...he had already tasted defeat prior to that and had already been in the ring with the likes of Jackson and Mugabi...Ortiz, he's been in there with Berto and Nate Campbell

but, i hope the outcome is the same tho...a thorough shellacking of an older fighter

Mugabi wasn't a good fighter, and he got poleaxed by Jackson the comparison isn't great but it was an interesting read and it took some effort. Anything can happen in boxing, a past prime great who has had 2 layoffs isn't a sure thing a shaky chinned yet potentially dangerous contender.
