Boxing glove size for a lightweight?

What size gloves would a lightweight boxer use to compete in a USA-boxing, event? I think it would be 10oz but when I searched online I never really found anything confirming that.

I believe that up to and including lightweight the gloves used are 8 oz. from then higher, 10 oz. At least it used to be so. In the early days of the 20th Cent. they used 5 oz gloves for all weights. Just imagine being hit by a heavyweight weaing 5 oz gloves. Hand injuries must have been more common even than today. Of course with fighting more often, as much as 10-20 fights a year or even more, I'd think that very few fighters would have been lucky enough to go into a fight uninjured in some way.
