I think for the first time Mayweather will going to lose. He will be in surviving mode early in the fight until he quit or battered until the twelve. The scenario will be Floyd will shut pot Victor Ortiz and Ortiz will try to pin down Floyd to the ropes. Floyd thinking he will have a counter attack once he avoided punches from Victor Ortiz unknowingly Ortiz has multiple combos in him hitting him everywhere not only in the head, but also in the shoulder, body, neck, so Floyd has no counter attack but to hug Victor Ortiz. Floyd will try to adjust by landing a punch then hug use elbow if needed. But Victor punching power aid with a powerful job and combos will be too much for Floyd. Floyd will wait for Victor to tire so he can attack but the problem is he is getting weaker by the rounds because of the blow that he will receive that night. This is all just my predictions peace!!!

I honestly do not think that Ortiz has what it takes to beat Mayweather but good luck to him. Ortiz is just strength, forward aggression and mentally I just feel like Mayweather is going to be too focused for Ortiz to shake up. People keep forgetting that Mayweather can take a punch, recover and get back on the horse immediately. Floyd's intelligents is going to beat Ortiz. Once Floyd starts throwing and connecting on Ortiz accurately punch after punch then Victor is going to get discouraged faster than Mayweather's past opponents. I think Mayweather is putting Ortiz out, ref or corner stops it in the 10th. No disrespect to Ortiz because he impressed me with his last performance but like Pop Hop said, "Mayweather ain't Berto" Ortiz is not going to have them opportunities AND on top of that. Ortiz was tasting alot of leather and Floyd gives alot of it. This is just my opinion. Anything can happen in a fight but Floyd is too sound and I feel he will prevail and become the new WBC Welter Weight Champion.

at first i started to clown this prediction as deluded. but this is a forum and every one is entitled to their opinion. i totally disagree as i just dont see any possible way this could happen as you dont give credit to floyds conditioning and prep for not just the fight but that he stays in the ring year round and stays in condition. but we all have our predictions and all are welcome to contribute. and to me all the boxers give floyd mad props. and i agree floyds biggest challenge comes from father time not vicious vic. this fight will help vic in the long run if it dont take away his confidence. after this loss vic will be champ again.of that i have no doubt.

Jr NEEDs a good bluff like bad ass talk to make you think you were beat before the bell rang. Tyson did that with Holyfield but it didn't WORK

What must ORTIZ do to WIN:

1. He must PRESSURE but not bumrush for the length of the fight. HE MUST get more intense not less

2. HE must JAB whether he has one or not

3. When he hurts JR in the first three rounds he must not QUIT LIKE OLD MAN MOSLEY he must hurt JR again and again.

IF ORTIZ will do this he will take JR where he has never been which leads me to this :

ALL the pressure is on JR !!!!!! What will he do if he can't turn ORTIZ and make him quit or go into survival. YOU say he will KO ORTIZ but I BELIEVE DIFFERENT , I am the one of the few that believe Ortiz can make the older guy miss his step and brutally KO or Make JR QUIT like his uncle did , the same uncle that trains him, the QUITTER that claims others have nothing when he quit on his stool with his head hanging down.

are u a boxing trainer ? ... stfu , giving a professional fighter "advise" on how to beat arguably the most skilled boxer ever, sound like an idiot ... theres no blueprint on how to beat him, theres no weakness to point out , whoever beats floyd is gonna land a lucky hail mary thats it .. he is the best technical fighter in the history on boxing.
