According to Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard, Schaefer, either featherweight Gary Russell Jr. (18-0, 10KOs) or heavyweight prospect Seth Mitchell (22-0-1, 16KOs), will possibly open up the HBO telecast for Amir Khan's defense of the WBA/IBF junior welterweight titles against mandatory challenger Lamont Peterson (29-1-1, 15KOs). The Khan (26-1, 18KOs) card will likely land in Washington, which is Peterson's hometown.
