Why is it so hard to believe that managers, promoters, fighters, etc wouldn't be the cause of fights with Floyd Jr. not happening? When you have less skilled fighters who may be big and strong, on the way up, managers and promoters DO protect those fighters vs skilled fighters.
Trainers know a fighter's limitations against such a skilled and defensive fighter that they may not really want the fight to happen "yet". And a promoters job is to promote their fighter and along with their manager to help make sure they fight the right fights as well.
It's so easy to blame the "name" fighter, but I don't for once instance believe that every fight not materialized by a name fighter is their fault only.
