Floyd's Self-Less Deeds for America Never Gets Reported by the Media

Floyd inspired the troops in Afghanistan by showing them the kinds of material things (cars, mansions, etc.) that they can eventually own if they work hard.

Floyd paid for an opponent's funeral. And no he didn't DO IT FOR PR PURPOSES!

He gave $250 shoes to a dozen kids.

He gave a sick kid his moral support.

He allows Mexican and Filipino boxers to train in his gym and use all of his gym's facilities for only a small fee.

Yet the media continues to treat him harshly by only pointing out the wife beating, money burning, security guard beating, and other minor things. But then again, the greedy media only cares about the bad things because they mean better ratings for them.

I hope that for a change that the media reports Mayweather's great deeds instead of focusing on the trivial and negative ones that don't mean anything.

I think Floyd plays the bad guy to sell tickets. In general, most boxers have had hard lives and therefore show more compassion that people might think.

First off great username. Second, I agree he does a lot of selfless deeds. However, I don't necessarily think him showing all his great stuff to the troops was a particularly tremendous moment for him. I imagine the troops were enjoying Mayweather in his element, so I wouldn't say it was necessarily bad either. Third, he allows Mexican and Filipino fighters to train in his facilities? What kind of wierd semi-racist statement is that? I don't think Roach deserves a pat on the back for training Lateef Kayode at Wild Card..

Anyways this sounds more like bait than a legit user, so good sh** if that's the case!

Problem is, he gave one pair for the dozen kids to share

He gave a sick kid his moral support.
But lied to him saying he wasn't thinking about boxing, 4 months later here he is fighting Ortiz

He allows Mexican and Filipino boxers to train in his gym and use all of his gym's facilities for only a small fee.

But he kicks them out if they even mutter Pacquiao's name

I agree, his "making it rain" is his way of giving back to the community and his burning of a $100 bill was symbolic of the struggles of his people by "the man"
              preach on brother!
