Why do people act like Mayweather's mind games are anything new, or different? He loves to get into his opponent's head. So far it looks like Ortiz is one of the first who isn't falling for it, but Mayweather knows exactly what buttons to press, and he'll keep on trying to press them until he gets a reaction.
