Why is Margarito still described as a top fighter?

He should have been banned for ever when they discovered he was a cheat, He then gets hammered and anally ****d by Shane Mosley is banned for a year comes back beats an unknown bum and then gets a big fight why I do not know Pacman beats him like the cheating coward he is destroying his face.

And for that record in the last few years he is rewarded with a shot at Cotto the light middle champ? He's a punchbag with a good chin no skill and no pop in his punches without his special fist implants!

He will only ever win against opponents with poor stamina as he can out work them any good or decent fighter with stamina to keep going for 12 will beat him comfortably.

What's the Agenda with acting as though he is a top fighter?

I agree. Margarito, Shane Mosley, Roy Jones, James Toney, Fernando Vargas and all the other outed cheats should've all been banned for life.

I don't really think he's regarded as a "top fighter". I think he's been granted these shots because he's marketable. More marketable than other fighters at these weights.

Down to money end of the day. Him & Cotto should still be a good fight though.

IMHO Cotto beats Ortiz knocks him out!

For Margarito this fight with Cotto is either his last chance or the last nail to his coffin, I resererve my opinion between Margarito-Ortiz after the fight, two of Ortiz weakness is Margarito greatest asset...

                  Chin Margarito>Ortiz
                  Heart Margarito>Ortiz
