I think we all can agree Ortiz was a cherrypick.

Floyd doesn't pick opponents he can't beat. Floyd knows this and Ortiz will get exposed like a rookie he is

People would have same thing if he had picked Cotto and Margarito because have lost big time and been exposed, besides the fact that they are fighting each round about the same time. Maravilla sounds good but doesn't make sense if Floyd is to fight Pacman at 147. In this division Ortiz was the most competitive pick for Floyd at this time...

You serious? Cotto and Margarito are both damaged goods now. By matching them up Arum is trying to juice up one last bit from their rivalry. Floyd would get 0% credit for a win. And they are both with Top Rank, to add to the problem. When has Floyd last fought a Top Rank fighter?

Sergio is not lucrative enough, that's clear as day. Seeing it as a possibility though... if Sergio can make 154 nowadays at all.

                    Let’s look at this logically.

Ortiz is a young hard hitting welterweight coming off an impressive win against a somewhat overrated but nonetheless skilled and previously undefeated fighter.

Marquez is a lightweight who’s previous single excursion to welterweight ended in a lopsided 12 rounds to nothing loss at the hand of who again?

Now tell me what’s more of a cherry pick? If you take bias out of the equation for one second its not hard to find the answer.

you thinking the way them mayweather think hommie. they deserve their shot. Floyd blatantly ducked them. and whose fault is that?.....cotto?...margarito.. ofcourse the best will fight the best while Floyds retiring ass watch in the sideline.

sergio will fight PBF in 154. floyd should make it happen to save his tainted to **** legacy.
