This could not be true. He COULD NOT have signed to fight MannyP BEFORE the contract INCLUDED the special blood tests he insisted on........or else the fight would have had to have gone on, WITHOUT the bloodtest. Or else Mayweather would have been under the stigma of having broken a signed and binding contract.....
You are NOT telling the truth.Comment

Yes, I think we can reliably assume that just about everything he does in the way of charity is done for PR reasons. And it's never anything big, costing large amounts, like a few of the others, like The Klitschko's or MannyP or even Arum.
A recent caae in point was reported on BoxngScene when Gennaro Heranadez died. The BIG headlines were that Mayweather was paying for the funeral (which likely cost $5-7 thou the most) He said " I talked to him a few weeks ago and said I'd send him some money". I SAY, why didn't he send him the money whilst he was alive and could benefit from it? And that if he had not died then it's likely that Mayweather would have forgotten about sending him any money-that he had already forgotten, until he was reminded by Hernandez having died.
At the same time, it was found out, purely by accident, and not from Arum himself, nor from any PR announcement, that Arum had been paying for Hernandez' chemotheraphy treatments ( each costing $10 thou plus) for years, making sure that one of his aides brought him both to and from the treatment centre, and also had been supporting the Gernandez family financially for many years.
A BIG difference both in charitable intent, and amount....... REAL Charity is done quietly.
Have you ever paid the funeral of a friend that passed? Have you ever paid the entire funeral cost of someone that was even related to you? Ever pay the funeral cost of a co-worker? The entire bill?
And FYI, Floyd actually had been keeping in-touch with Hernandez and told him BEFORE he died, that he is there for him for whatever he needs. Floyd mentioned to the press that there was a time he cried about him, and this was before his death. Floyd does quite a bit of charity quietly. Lots in his position do.
Second, know that there is good in every one of us. Floyd may not be some angelic character, but he does do good things for others purely out of his heart. We all do! Even those in jail. Floyd's actions are under the microscope big time because he's a celebrity also. Floyd cannot walk down the street alone without being noticed.
Whereas Arum, can go practically anywhere and most people wouldn't recognize who the hell he is. He's not a celebrity, even though he has more money than a number of celebrities. That's the cool thing about being a behind-the-scenes businessman. You can sit back and make kings, benefit, and go relatively unnoticed.Comment

If I do make it rain, I'm throwing money to the American citizens in a recession. A guy comes over to our country, which is America, makes money in our country, and then takes it back to his country to feed his people. And they say this guy who's has been beating and dominating for 16 years is scared of a guy. The proof is in the pudding.
That didnt made any kind of sense. Floyd is a ******Comment

Mosley took a couple of losses but nobody has ever dominated him like I dominated him. I fought Mosley after his most impressive victory, Antonio Margarito. But Margarito takes two years off and he fights [Pacquiao] and they say 'oh, that was so amazing.' But when I fight [Oscar] De La Hoya at 154, the weight that he chose. And at the weigh-in, they can gain as much weight as they want to gain. I don't get no clause in my contract saying 'you know what, a guy has to weigh 145-pounds and after that it's $3 million dollars a pound' so he can't gain a certain amount of weight. So when the fighter goes into a fight, he's already a beaten fighter.
I think somebody's feeding trash into Floyd's mind, is he really this delusional, there was never such a clause in the Manny/Oscar fight, Oscar made a big error in his preparation and you want Manny to take the blame for that?!!! You're a moron if you believe any of this ****** rant from Floyd....Comment
