You didn't know? His performance against Barrera makes him legit....

      ummm, no?

any of Matthysse, Morales, Maidana, Guerrero, Prescott would be more interesting than Peterson who quite frankly doesn't have a prayer.

        i disagree

i think peterson is a more credible opponent (apart from guerrero) than the above list

he's a good boxer and he fought well against bradley and ortiz so why not

khan needs a few more fights at 140 before moving up anyway

Peterson was outclassed by Bradley, he showed a lot of heart to go the distance but heart won't be enough with Khan's speed, I will be surprised if it goes the distance this time.

It's actually Khan's last fight at 140 according to his press releases and that's what makes it disappointing for me because it almost guarantees we won't see him fight most of the names mentioned unless they too move up.

I can't agree here,Matts while he is a decent boxer he is not active during a fight he just does not work enough..Morales come on dude, and Maidana well we seen how that played out and tbh I think a rematch would be a lot more one sided..R.G.is untested at 140lb so we have no clue how he would look at the weight..Peterson presents a whole new set of problems for Khan due to style..I see a good fight here, and dude be honest have you ever watch a bad Peterson fight??

Do you really think this is true? imo his defence is far too open to take on a fighter like Khan, he doesn't possess the type of power to worry Khan. I just think he gets overwhelmed, much in the same way as Paulie Malignaggi (who imo is a more skilful boxer).

Petersons defense is to time you and punch with you(don't get me wrong he holds his hands up as well tho)..Peterson also has a very good jab(when he was coming up it was said he had one of the best jabs of the young talent)and let's not forget about the inside/body work..Peterson is much more talented and skilled then Paulie M bro,Khan should be favored but no means is this a blow out kinda fight..Peterson will be Khans toughest fight to date imo I expect a great fight..No matter who wins...

I seriously have to wonder if Khan didn't spar with Manny and was not trained by Roach would this many people still overrate this dude that much. **** is just crazy. Yes Khan is good but has not beat not 1 A-level or elite fighter to get the kind of praise and jock riding he is getting by some people. I truly think Khan is good but no where near what some on here try to make him out to be.

You don't watch Lamont Peterson fights.
