Not at all. The few people I know that usually only watch PPV events have even said they don't care about this fight. They were like, "Who is Ortiz, Tito Ortiz?" I'm not even kidding either and after I tried to give some background info about the fight, they said they would not pay for it but maybe come over my house to watch the stream I'm getting.

The common response also is: "Why isn't he fighting Pacquiao? When is that fight happening?" I get the feeling they just want to see him lose.

personally, i'm really looking forward to the fight..however, i thought i would have been more hyped by now...maybe tomorrow after the weigh ins

I havent really heard or felt the hype personally from non boxing friends/co-workers. But I see all the bars around me are showing the fight but that is basically always the case when Mayweather and Pacquiao are fighting. The only other fighters I see bars really advertise they are showing their fights are Cotto and Klitschko.
