There is a huge difference between the way Filipinos look at Pacquiao and the way African-Americans look at Mayweather. Nobody looks at Floyd Mayweather like he is some hero or role model. Filipinos look at Pacquiao like that because it is a country that has nothing, sucks at sports, and most of the people there have nothing. Philippines is a horribly impoverished third world country, that is why so many men leave the country to work in better places and why so many women will marry anyone to get out of there. There are at least 100 better known athletes than Mayweather here. All Philippines has is Pacquiao. Adam Carolla nailed it in his controversial commentary. You can't compare the two because there is nothing similar.
There are many gifted athletes that are hated due to their conduct off the field like Ty Cobb, OJ Simpson, Terrel Owens, as well as Mayweather Jr.. These athletes although considered great in what they do, their misbehavior, oversized egos, and misconduct in everyday life overshadow their accomplishments in sports.
In contrast, athletes like Wayne Gretzsky, Roger Federer, Pele, Barry Sanders, as well as Pacquiao are idolized on and off the field due to their good character and humility despite their obvious talents.Comment

This is a guy who is a known racist, and someone who beats women and children.
He's had multiple instances of beating women, the mother of his own children, and well as beating his own children. Then you factor in all the people who he assaults randomly on the street.
Lets not forget he also had a disgusting racist rant against Pacquiao that left him humiliated and embarrassed in front of the whole world.
And he even curses and called his own father f@ggot on national TV. This is a person with no intelligence, class who beats women and children, and is openly a racist. Yet, black Americans think this is cool.
Black people are chronically unable to criticize or acknowledge Floyd is a terrible person who should not be celebrated for his antics. Yet black people do the opposite, and celebrate him and defend him.
Is Floyd helping or hurting black people in America and their culture? Is he setting a good example for them?
Also failed to mention that Josie Harris has a record of false assault claims.
Maybe you should stop worrying about black people, or worrying about Floyd, and worry about your own self. Cause when you hate on someone then all youre doing is exposing youre insecurities with yourself.Comment

Thank you
Hater why are you always here slick hatin on MAyweather. I dont mean to be petty but frankly Im tired of seeing that weak ass avi knowing nothing worth listening to is to its immediate right. A simple answer to this thread is "Not one black person represnets the race, including *****". But you being the hater that you are try to find one small insignificant thing to argue instead of being on the side of right.Comment

Without pacroid, pinoys would have nothing to brag about. Pacroid is the best thing to come out of that country. Pbf isn't even considered to be a top 20 athlete in American but is still favored against the pinoys greatest athlete. Now that doesn't say USA>>>>>pinoys I don't know what does. See how you just owned yourself?Comment

He is a hell of a boxer against handpicked opponents. His skills don't mean **** if he does'nt test them agaist equally skilled fighters. Floyd is a fraud. He's acting like people are hating and that people actually think he's going to lose Saturday. Everyone knows he's going to win so why talk so big at the press conference? He hand picks this guy and then has to try to mentally break him down first? Thanks for telling me Ortiz is weight drained Floyd. You ****in idiot now I have no reason to order th PPV. Money from Floyds pocket because his ego just could'nt keep his mouth shut.Comment
