Does Mayweather set a good example for Black people and their culture in America?

hes not an example. he is an athlete. but you seem to hold him at this high standard as an example. so on your notion, yes hes done quite well coming from nothing to something. he sets a good example as an athlete. which is what he is.
No one works harder than him in this sport and he earned his spot as the Cash Cow.
I dont judge any fighter on their personal life..or what their accused of..Only God can judge.Comment

There is a huge difference between the way Filipinos look at Pacquiao and the way African-Americans look at Mayweather. Nobody looks at Floyd Mayweather like he is some hero or role model. Filipinos look at Pacquiao like that because it is a country that has nothing, sucks at sports, and most of the people there have nothing. Philippines is a horribly impoverished third world country, that is why so many men leave the country to work in better places and why so many women will marry anyone to get out of there. There are at least 100 better known athletes than Mayweather here. All Philippines has is Pacquiao. Adam Carolla nailed it in his controversial commentary. You can't compare the two because there is nothing similar.Comment

one person doesn't represent black america or america as a whole. crazy right? No one in america considers floyd a role model besides up and coming boxers who looks at his technical prowess.Comment
