Comments Thread For: Rodella: Victor Ortiz Will Shock The World Once Again

During a recent trip to Victor Ortiz’s media day in Ventura, California, I spotted junior lightweight hopeful David Rodela in the crowd. A rangy boxer-puncher with a 15-4-2 (6) record, Rodela is closely connected to Ortiz’s camp as the 24-year old WBC welterweight champion prepares to defend his belt against Floyd Mayweather Jr. this Saturday night in Las Vegas.

Again? Ortiz never shocked the world in the first place. I thought it was fairly obvious that he would beat Berto based on the fact Berto had fought nobody of note and should have lost to Collazo before. Only people who bought into the Berto hype were shocked.

Mayweather can't get into Ortiz's head, Ortiz is hood too, he doesn't care whether he gets KO or wins he will fight him hard and yes Floyd will be hurt in this fight.

Question: where is this speed that everybody keeps saying Ortiz has? Yes he's powerful,MAYBE smart, but he's not THAT fast.Plus,he's too one demensional to be ****ing with Floyd. He's going to lung in with his punches and he's gonna try to cut the ring off...THAT'S IT.Good defense and crispy counters will drain this boy...watch.Come on,PETERSON OUTBOXED HIM,and he's only a fraction of what Floyd is as a boxer.

Victor will send maywheater to the canvas, it's going to be very hard for floid to hurt victor ,he-(mayweather) doesn,t have maidana's power.

"Pressure bursts pipes" Mayweather is gonna be overwhelmed by the younger, stronger, and very fast Ortiz.
