How is that the writer's interpretation if its in quotes (meaning those are mayweather's words)

And either way, why does it matter how much money he will make in 5 years?

Also Floyd does`nt know for sure if Pacquiao really agreed to testing,Pacquaio still has to sign the contract and they still have to negotiate the money split.Floyd is being realistic,he no longer wants to make anymore promises cause theirs no guarantee that him and PAcquiao comes to an agreement on testing, money split etc.
What contract? And is mayweather's signature also on this contract already?

Also reveals that he won't fight Pacquiao until he 'gets his business' in order. So much for take the test and we got a fight

During a private sitdown meeting with select members of the media, undefeated pound-for-pound champion Floyd Mayweather addressed recent reports that

He also made it clear in another article (concerning him possibly facing Canelo) that he plans on taking more long stretches of time off.
Come on man I don't see how you got the bold out of what PBF said. Add on to that it was Manny who said testing is fine but the money isn't. PBF just telling Manny that getting his business in order is more important than worrying about a fight with me. Also he didn't say he wouldn't fight Manny unless Manny business was straight. That **** would be ****** why the **** should PBF care if Manny gets a $1 for fighting him if his own side of the money and business is right?

I agree with a few other posters in here that both of them are fine with not fighting each other cause they still getting plenty of money fighting other fights.

PBF is just taking another step back from fighting Pac. He sounds just like a politician. Actually he sounds like Oscar when he first said the fight was close and then explained he only said that to make people happy.

The idea that the fight won't happen because of Pac's cut from Top Rank is absurd. The idea that Floyd cares about that is sublime.

I guess it's time to root for Ortiz again because the Pac fight ain't gonna happen.

im not gonna lie though, the part where he says for pacman to get his business straight and his money right, i gotta agree with that. Pac cant keep letting these dude take his money from him (if thats really true). But the fact that floyd seem like all of a sudden he cares about pac and his money/future is BS!!

he was caught lying plain and simple when he declared that pacquiao is next. he said those words without meaning it, he doesnt intend to fight pacquiao after or in the near future its just braggadocio. after that interview he forgot all about it until the second interview when it was mentioned, he was caught lying plain and simple. he even argued with the reported on how such was putting words to his mouth only to realized later prolly when he saw his video telling everyone that he was checkmated, he has no way out but to admit it. now hes uttering words about pacquiao straightening up his finances, nah, hes just at it again just blabbering about to have the media something to talk
about. hes playing with everybody. somebody or something should put a stop on this.
