There really is no pain in getting tattoo'd. It's kind of a scratching feeling. But the thing is there are paintings that you can hang on your wall that are great works of art...masterpieces that people will admire and want to look at. Then there are also paintings created by an uncoordinated 6 yr old that has no gift for painting... and unless that was YOUR 6 yr old who created it... you probably wouldn't hang it on your wall.
Some tattoo's are really works of art...but some people just have no idea how messed up they look when done by a hack without talent or the honesty to tell the client it will look like crap on you. Then once it starts to fade it just looks like dark splotches unless you keep having it touched up.
