Completely average in every category. Think MW version of Matthew Hatton. Not "bad" at all, but not world class either - just your average, run o' da mill pug. . .

My theory is that this is a case of a promoter doing a favor for another promoter so that later on the favor can be repaid back.

Lol, funny how that is. Martinez never said he WON'T fight Pirog, from what I can remember of him saying regarding that matchup. Him and DiBella just said he's not a draw in the U.S and isn't that experience to be looked at too much. Not saying Barker is but it's somewhat true. Gennady Golovkin is also a tough challenge but doesn't he have some European promotional issues or something?
