Who's the more credible Welterweight.. Ortiz or Marquez?

Mannys fighting Marquez, Floyds fighting Ortiz.. which one you think is the more credible and worthy opponent at welterweight right now? Is Marquez even a legit WW, is Ortiz still a quitter? What's the deal?

This isn't even a debatable topic. Ortiz is a legit welterweight champ. Marquez isn't.

Ortiz vs Marquez should be fought at 140lbs tops... probably a catchweight a little lower than that, if Ortiz could get down.

              147 Ortiz
              135 Marquez
140 I can see making a case for either fighter.

How many times has Marquez been KO'd? I could see a possible TKO at 147.

They each have 1 WW fight. One of them won, the other one lost. The one who lost fought the better WW, the one who won is a WW champ.

But I think no matter what top WW Marquez would have fought that night, he would have lost. Ortiz could have beaten a handful of WW's that night, not only Berto.
