This is true. However with JMM, Mayweather wanted a little practice and to put rounds under his belt. But it is true, JMM did not go for broke. I think in this fight Ortiz will come to fight. Put money on this fight not going the distance now!

Marquez never went into survival mode...And Mayweather tried to take him out, even stepping it up in the 11th, but couldn't so he went back to boxing mode

        Agreed.

Ortiz will come to fight, if gets a lucky shot we might all get a surprise, but most likely Floyd will win.

Gayweather is such a ****** ignorant bastard. The bottom line, is that Gay has never had power and his hands are brittle. He is talking crap so that Ortiz will come in and try to make it a brawl because that is how Gay fights best, when his opponents come in swinging wild. Hopefully Ortiz won't fall into this crap and fights smart. I will celebrate beyond imagination if Ortiz wins. I don't see it happening though boxing is so corrupt now and Gayweather is already talking about Manny so what does that tell you?

You really think so Romey? I don't see it. Will Ortiz get knocked down? Very possible. Knocked out? I personally don't think so. But, anything can happen in boxing. That's what keeps us watching though, right?

Also, a lot depends on whether FMJ really does go toe-to-toe with Ortiz - IMO he's better off stickin and movin. THATS what has always frustrated his opponents the most. Going tat for tat with a young hungry kid with something to prove might not be the wisest idea for Mayweather at this stage in his career. But, I'd love to see it. Floyd has a damn good chin. Victor's has been tested, but he's always gotten back up so far.... and I can't believe he would ever quit again. I think he'd rather end up looking like Margarito then quit IMO.

Side note: The ref could end up being crucial in this fight. I pray to everything above that it ain't Joe "don't let em fight on the inside" Cortez! If I see his name announced as third man in the ring, I'm gonna be beyond pissed.

Mayweather is a dirty cheater. He had no shame when he came in way heavier than the smaller Marquez and had the balls to reject getting on the scale. I personally can't stand what this piece of crap stands for. As a boxer he has great skill, but he is a crappy human being and I cant wait for someone to clear his clock.

I don't think anyone expects Floyd to KO him cold. I think people are expecting Floyd to get the stoppage not a 10 count. Like I said if Ortiz comes to fight and Floyd does not get a KO/TKO it would be dissapointing IMO.
