It's interesting to me as well - how the original investigator (Palo?) stated in the beginning that anyone coming and going through this "5 star hotel" would have been noticed on their "state of the art" security system or through electronic key swiping or professional security guards and staff... However, through out the interviews given for the ongoing trial it has been revealed that this "5 star hotel" had neither elevators (their room was 7 stories up) NOR AIR CONDITIONING (in a very hot Country) and was reportedly in a "bad" area of the City. If that's 5 star, I shutter to think what a dive in that City would look like. It seems that many things were misrepresented by the Brazilian investigators.
Also, the defense is trying to paint Gatti as a desperately in love abuser who couldn't let his wife go - and also stating that there was a court order for Arturo to stay away from Rodriqez... BUT - at the SAME TIME, they were supposedly on a "second honeymoon" basking in their swagger upscale accomodations in Brazil (LOL)......... TOGETHER. Nothing about this makes much sense.
Too many things that make you go..... hmmmmmm. I still don't believe Amanda could have walked past Arturo that night and NOT have seen the massive amounts of blood surrounding his body, and not just "passed out" (she admitted to seeing him) as she claimed. That "5 star" apartment was tiny, and she absolutely would have had to step OVER his body to go back upstairs that night (photos have been shown and aired on TV). If she didn't have a light on, she would have literally tripped over his body that night. There had to have been enough light for her to prepare the baby's bottle and make it up and down the stairway. There's NO WAY she didn't see the blood.... NO WAY. Which means - she's a LIAR. Why lie if you're innocent?
