Yuriorkis Gamboa, is fighting more smart

I never Gamboa finally convinced this because it has outstanding and conditions not used wisely.
But in his last fight every time I see him better, although I think it has much improved from the technical, is that a person who works and learns constantly.

    My respects to Gamboa

Yes he is but people don't seem to like this, especially Max Kellerman who's obsessed with Gamboa getting a TKO and flurrying every second of every round.

I personally like it, it's for his own good and he's still shutting out his opponents and outboxing them. He's fun to watch for me. Too bad his opponents seem to be so outmatched, just like prime Jones was making his opponents look. Next you'll have a pack of haters saying Gamboa hasn't fought anybody, and will downplay his wins over Salido, Ponce, Barros and Solis.

You mean boring? He could of had ponce out a lot sooner if it want for his one, punch combos. He had ever chance to exchange and overwhelm his opponent but failed to do so.

The people who complain about a guy who boxes, they don't understand the sport.
It's called boxing, not stand and trade. It's like checker players complaining about chess being boring, well it's gonna be boring if you don't know what you're watching.
The limitations in boxing makes these announcers/networks panic, MMA/UFC caters to the more blood thirsty crowd (checkers) and boxing is more refined and structured (chess).

he impressed me from a technical stand point but...

            he wasnt super entertaining

he could have put that guys lights out if he was more aggressive

Ponce is a danger fighter, Yuriorkis can't change punches like crazy. I thought I was gonna do that and lose by KO. but I was pleasantly surprised, and now I respect him more

Agree'd. Although I do think if he was a little more aggressive he would have been able to stop Ponce De Leon. By that I don't mean he just goes ape ****, but stayed a little more active.
