I think Forbes is the closest thing to Mayweather as it gets.

I feel Floyd should've gotten Kirkland as a sparring partner, but oh well.

Ortiz sparring partners are smaller but then again they are faster and have slick styles, except Flores, I've never seen him before. Dargan is very good at punching and movign away which should serve Ortiz good and Forbes well we've all seen him.

Mayweathers partners are bigger then those of Ortiz but then again are a tad slower but have more power. None of them a solid jab like Ortiz but rely on power shots all the time.

I think both guys have got solid work.

Ortiz jab was almost non-existent against Berto.

Actually, he should have gotten Ricky Hatton to prepare him for all the hugging and clinching that Ortiz would do. Luckily he got Cortez as the ref so John Ruiz Jr has no chance to win at all now.

I think Ortiz should have gotten Joan Guzman to spar, that would have been the perfect sparring partner there is to emulate Floyd.
