Many people think Byrd could give Toney some trouble (although I personally think Toney wins this one by UD)
However, Wlad made Byrd look like an armature when Byrd was in his prime, winning most of the rounds...
Wlad probably has the best offence skills in the game... and Toney is a counter-puncher... I just don't see him reaching Wlad, or getting anywhere near....Comment

Anyone who thinks Toney could beat Wlad is clueless. Wlad has superior boxing skills as a heavyweight, he's taller, longer reach, and has very good power. Toney wouldn't get NEAR Wlad. To beat Wlad you have to have stamina and you need to keep up the workrate, OR you need the big punch. Both of which Toney clearly doesn't have.Comment

it's just surprising to hear people think that toney would be able to ko wladimir. just a bit more shocking than thinking he could tko wlad. even jt beating wladimir, to me, seems to be a stretch.
when wlad wants to box, he cannot be outboxed. check his records on this.
when wlad wants to knock you out, he can. check his records on this.
only chance fighters have of beating wladimir is catching him when he's not sure which of the above he wants to do.Comment

one more thing guys, let's not talk of peter having knocked wladimir down 3 times. i can't believe that this was mentioned quite a bit in the first few days after the fight, then it gets glossed over.
those knockdowns were only legitimate as the ref wrongly had not even bothered peter about the clear-as-day rabbit punching.
and even saying something like 'wlad turned his head so he got hit in the back of it', is just a bull**** excuse to descredit his win over peter a bit more.
i've seen peter do this in every fight i've seen him in. and multiple times.
not trying to rant, but referees' need to keep an eye out for this trait before it gives a fighter brain damage.Comment
