James Toney has the power and Skills to Tko Wlad ??

I know he has the Skills but we all know he has lost alot of power coming up all those weight classes and also being out of shape.


I Think he could still knock out or Tko Wlad .

I don't think he has the power to KO top heavyweights. However, if there is one he could KO, it would definately be Wlad.

i only read the 1st line of ur post and i immediatly thought "NO".

wlads chin isnt that great, but toney's power is LONG GONE. even if he still had his power, his 5'9" body, 76" reach, and 235 lb body would not allow his arm to reach wlads head with enough power to do damage.

face it, everybody: toney's knockout days are over, gone, HISTORY.

I doubt it....he can't one punch KO any HW IMO,It may be possible for him to get a stoppage by an accumilation of punches but he does not open up like that all that often he likes to counter and seems more reluctant to go for a KO since he has been at HW.

wlad's been dropped by power punchers like brewster, sanders, and peter who have FAR more than just decent power. and they are all much taller than toney, who does NOT have decent power anymore.

I think he could sneak in a counter hurt wlad and drop him .

Or possibly get the ref to stop the fight on a barrage of punches .

toney fights off the ropes and counters with right hands. but he cant stay on the ropes the entire fight. even when wlad has him against he ropes and gets countered, toney doesnt carry the pop in his punch to KO/TKO wlad. and toney's not really a good finisher.

i dont see toney ever beating wlad.
