man ponce gave up like a punk that cut wasn't even bad. other boxers have gotten cut way worse than that and still kept fighting.
I watched the fight once. I honestly can't say I know exactly what happened: whether the ref stopped the fight on the doc's recommendation, or Ponce nodded that he wanted to go to the cards. One thing is clear: Daniel didn't show any desire whatsoever to continue the fight.
